For 2019 the new USDF Tests will be used. The following will be offered: Introductory Tests A & B, Training and First. As well equitation classes for Walk/Trot and Walk/Trot/Canter. Also there will a Test of Choice class.

​

Class 1 and Class 2 are open to riders who have never competed in a dressage class before 2018.

Class 3 and Class 4 are open to horses or ponies, in their first year of competition.

Test

Class 12: Test of Choice - Any USEF Test from Intro to 4th Level or current CADORA tests.

Ring Size

Walk/Trot classes will be ridden in a 20 x 40 ring.

Training & First Level classes will be ridden in a 20 X 60 ring.

 

·                  Class 1: 2019 USDF Introductory Test A - New Rider– 20 x 40 ring.

·                  Class 2: 2019 USDF Introductory Test B - New Rider – 20 x 40 ring.

·                  Class 3: 2019 USDF Introductory Test A - Green Horse– 20 x 40 ring.

·                  Class 4: 2019 USDF Introductory Test B - Green Horse– 20 x 40 ring.

·                  Class 5: 2019 USDF Training Level Test 1 - 20 x 60 ring.

·                  Class 6: 2019 USDF Training Level Test 2 - 20 x 60 ring.

·                  Class 7: 2019 USDF First Level Test 1 - 20 x 60 ring.

·                  Class 8: 2019 USDF First Level Test 2 - 20 x 60 ring.

·                  Class 10: Equitation Walk/Trot

·                  Class 11: Equitation Walk/Trot/Canter

·                  Class 12: Test of Choice – 20 x 40 or 20 x 60 ring depending on Test

Cost for each class is $30.00 as well there is a $20.00 administration fee for each entry.

 

There is a maximum of four (4) tests per rider/horse combination. 

 

Test of Choice (TOC) – please confirm on your entry form which test you will be riding and specify the ring size either 20 x 40 or 20 x 60. Note: This class will not be split by category.

 

Closing Date:  Midnight Monday June 10th 2019

 

Entry Cap: Entries will be capped at 25 horse/rider combinations.

 

Refund Policy: Cancellations made before or on the closing date will be refunded, minus the administration fee of $15.00. There will be no refunds after the closing date.

 

Late Entries may only be accepted if there is room. Contact the Show Secretary.

 

Entries may be mailed or sent via email.

E-mailed entries must include scans of the following documents:

  • Completed and signed entry form

  • Current OE membership card (owner and rider)

  • Current Negative Coggins test

  • E-transfer of complete entry fee to carolinepeckca@hotmail.com

Mailed entries must include the following documents:

  • Completed and signed entry form

  • Photocopy of current OE membership card (owner and rider)

  • Photocopy of current Negative Coggins test

  • Full payment: Cheques or E-transfers only please

 

Confirmation

A confirmation email will be sent once your entry has been received.

If you do not receive a confirmation, your entry has NOT been received.

 

Riding Times will be e-mailed to riders/owners on Wednesday June 12 2019. If you have any concerns please 613-322-6558 between 5 – 8 pm on Wednesday evening.

Ribbons

Ribbons will be awarded to 5th place. Ribbons will be divided into PeeWee, Junior, Adult Amateur and Open categories where entries warrant in the class.

 

Champions

Champions and Reserve Champions will be awarded as follows:

PeeWee[i], Junior, Adult Amateur, Open, Walk/Trot, Training and First Level.

Subject to review based on number of entries.

 

High Point Champion will be awarded to the Rider who earns the highest test score.

 

Hors-concours entries are always welcome.

 

Stabling

If you would like a stall for the show, please contact the Show Secretary.

Cost: $15.00 per day or $20.00 overnight.

 

OADG Year End Awards

Scores from this show can be used towards the OADG Year End Awards provided you are a member of the OADG by May 31st. For more information please refer to the OADG website - http://www.ottawadressage.ca

 

DOGS This not our facility - we ask that you leave your dogs at home.

 

Food will be available on site

 

Veterinary will be on call for the show.

 

[i] A competitor is a PeeWee until the end of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 12.
